Rigidbody, Colliders & Triggers

Rigidbody, Collider, and trigger components are how Unity's physics engine knows what an object is made of and how it should move. Get the division of labor right (colliders define shape, the Rigidbody owns motion, your script applies forces) and most physics bugs never happen. Get it wrong and you spend weeks fighting jitter and objects passing through walls.
