UI

Unity's UI system (uGUI) is how you build menus, health bars, inventories, and every other screen a player clicks on. It runs on a Canvas, positions elements with RectTransforms, and talks to your game through events. Getting the layout rules right early saves you from rebuilding every screen the first time the resolution changes.
