Authoring

Authoring is the Editor-side half of the conversion pipeline. You still place GameObjects, attach MonoBehaviours, and assign references in the Inspector. During baking, Unity runs Bakers that read those authoring components and emit ECS data: entities and components your systems consume at runtime. Nothing in this flow replaces systems or jobs. It only bridges familiar scene editing into the runtime world.
